Faith Formation

Christian formation is the continual lifelong process of deepening one's understanding of his or her faith. Christian education is a large part of this formation process. Faith Forma Family

tion organizes and presents Sunday morning education classes, special events and programs, and other educational opportunities. If you have an idea for a Faith Formation class, please fill out this form and submit it to one of the Faith Formation team members.

Faith Formation, or Christian Education, takes place in Education Building room #1 at 9:15-10:15 each Sunday morning.

2009 Offerings

During the month of June we will have a DVD presentation on the New Testament, taught by Dr. Bart D. Ehrman (The Great Courses series by The Teaching Company). The presentations will be:

June 7: The Early Christians and Their Literature

June 14: The Greco-Roman Context

June 21: Ancient Judaism

June 28: The Earliest Traditions About Jesus

Each presentation is about 30 minutes, followed by group discussion. This will set the foundation for future studies on the Gospels and the historical Jesus.
